Tidal Basin seeks an experienced Inspector to join our team supporting clients. This position will assist in one or more programs that provide temporary housing and temporary or permanent repairs to damaged homes in the recovery from Hurricane Ian. Position Summary:
The Inspector will work collaboratively with program staff, homeowners, and other contractors in providing inspection services. This position will provide services to prepare for and complete final inspection and assist lease-in applicants into their temporary housing units.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure deadlines are met and inspection schedules are followed
Collect, review, and analyze data, and prepare reports
Competently perform required inspections and related services as directed
Required Skills/Competencies:
Diligence, thoroughness, and excellent attention to detail
Valid drivers’ license with reliable transportation
Able to pass a background check
Ability to create reports, schedules and be proficient in MS Office suite
Preferred familiarity with travel trailers, RV sales or maintenance
Education and Experience:
Two (2) years of experience performing similar inspection activities
Preferred knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and trade practices
