The role you’ll contribute:
The Infusion Center RN demonstrates Infusion and cancer specific knowledge and clinical expertise in medical oncology and chemotherapy administration under the direction of the physician. The RN is also responsible for independent judgment while practicing with the state, facility, and regulatory guidelines.
The Value You’ll Bring To The Team
- Provide nursing are/skills to oncology patients
- Assess patients and respond to changes in patient condition
- Manage emergency patient situations such as codes
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Education And Experience Required
Clinical nursing expertise in oncology care
- Two-year associate degree in nursing
- 1 year experience in acute care nursing
Education And Experience Preferred
- BSN degree
- Oncology experience
Licensure, Certification Or Registration Required
- Maintains professional licensure of a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- Maintains BLS/CPR certification
- Maintains ACLS certification
