Renuity is seeking a
Staff Accountants who is responsible for assisting with maintaining financial records and reports, performing general ledger account and bank statement reconciliations, preparing journal entries, maintaining accounts payable documentation. The staff accountant will also assist the Senior Accountant as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes.

What You'll Do
- Reconciles the general operating account and enters cash receipts and payments into the General Ledger on a daily basis
- Prepare new vendor and employee forms
- Assists with the monthly accrual process, by analyzing expenses on a run-rate basis and accruing for missing costs where necessary and ensuring that there is sufficient supporting documents to justify the accrual
- Assists with the month-end closing process, conducting research and answering questions, and making correcting journal entries for account discrepancies
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files necessary to support the journal entry being made
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for responsible areas
- Assist with the Retainage process of installers in Coupa
- Performing ad-hoc projects on an as needed basis
- Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills
What You'll Bring
- Associate degree in accounting or equivalent from a two-year college or technical schoolpreferred
- 1-3 years of experience as Staff Accountant
- Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting andspreadsheet programs.
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
