Your Role As An Aircraft A&P Mechanic
As an Aircraft A&P Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in preventive maintenance, repairs, modifications, and other aircraft-related tasks. Your work will adhere to regulations and safety standards while ensuring aircraft and equipment are in top-notch condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications while complying with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot aircraft systems and execute maintenance work orders.
- Ensure tools and equipment are suitable and up-to-date.
- Prioritize safety in all maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Update supervisors on work progress and complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide coaching and on-the-job training as needed.
- Adhere to work schedules, safety guidelines, and regulations.
- Suggest improvements in operational procedures to enhance safety and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay current on training and certifications.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
- Preferred: Previous A&P mechanic or airline experience.
- Ability to use computers for data input and research.
- Stable employment history.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Possession of required tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Able to pass FAA-required 10-year work history review and background checks.
- Strong communication skills.

- Able to stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to lift and move various weights.
- Strong vision and physical capabilities.
Work Environment
- Work in various conditions, including exposure to moving parts, fumes, and outdoor environments.
- May work in high, precarious places.
- Exposure to chemicals and potential risks.
- Ability to wear respirators and protective equipment.
- Flexibility to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for 24-hour operations.
Travel Requirements
- Able to travel up to 20% of the time, including overnight stays.
