Work Schedule
Schedule: Varies, required to rotate days/nights, 12 hour shifts, 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next. Required to work rotating holidays and weekends.
Minimum Qualifications (Applicants Must Meet These Requirements)
- Education: ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year in a critical care unit with 4 or more beds, within the last 3 years.
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN license from any state.
- Clinical Certification: TNCC or ATCN Certification desired; ERP will reimburse for completion if not current.
- Life Support Certifications: Current ARC or AHA BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.
- Security: Must pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.
Position Duties
- Coordinate inpatient care with healthcare professionals for optimal outcomes.
- Conduct physical exams, maintain records, and handle administrative tasks.
- Provide health promotion, counseling, and education.
- Administer medications, wound care, and personalized interventions.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies.
- Communicate and collaborate within the healthcare team.
- Arrange referrals and specialty care when necessary.
- Perform various clinical procedures and interpret lab values.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in medical records.
