Apollo Ventures Management is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As the CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and Executive team, and provide financial expertise to enable us to achieve our growth and expansion objectives. You will play a crucial role in assessing and establishing financial policies, systems, and processes that support financial decision-making, forecasting, and reporting. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial planning and budgeting processes and requirements
- Oversee all financial activities including accounting, tax, and treasury operations
- Track and maintain all financial records, including the general ledger, balance sheet and income statement
- Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports to executive leadership
- Facilitate decision-making by analyzing financial results and potential impact on the business
- Manage relationships with investors and investment firms
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws
Requirements
- 10+ years of related finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proven track record of successful financial management and results in a complex, fast-growing organization
- Strong experience with financial planning, analysis, and reporting
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire trust and cultivate relationships
- Knowledge of accounting and financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing investors and investment firms
