South Motors VW is seeking an Express Lube Technician to join the team full-time and work on vehicle maintenance and light care, like oil changes and tire rotations. Specializing in quick care maintenance, the Lube technician jobrequirescareful attention to detail and quickly adapting to innovative technologies.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform maintenance or repair work specified on a repair order
- Perform quality multi-point inspections to identify needed repairs
- Communicate directly with service advisors if any additional services are needed
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Able to work as a team member and work well with others
Requirements
- One plus year experience as a lube technician or auto tech
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
- Able to work a five-day work week with weekends included
- Maintain licenses following Dade County guidelines
- Previous aftermarket experience preferred
- Lube techs usually need to stand for entire shifts
- Lift heavy boxes (50 pounds)
