As the Sr. HR Business Partner, you will be a key member of our growing Human Resources team who will partner closely with clients and within the HR team to help deliver on our company’s goals for growth, innovation, and an environment that inspires our employees.
You will have the ability to lead and support initiatives that will help deliver great talent, create collaborative and engaging organizations, and develop great culture, values and leadership – all with the goal of delivering on Treace Medical’s business plans and growth opportunities.
What you will be responsible for:
- Build strong and trusting relationships with clients and within the HR team.
- Understand client needs and objectives; execute timely, effective, and scalable people programs and processes to support the business objectives.
- Deliver key talent initiatives—including leading and supporting change where needed--across their client organization, including employee relations, leadership development, talent reviews and assessment processes, succession planning, performance management, competency development, etc.
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Provide HR guidance, insights and best practices to solve problems and support good decision making, compliance and employee outcomes.
- Support and promote a positive team member experience through good hiring, retention, engagement, and wellbeing initiatives and activities.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Manage employee relations cases, providing direction on HR matters to department business partners, escalating concerns, and functioning as primary point of contact and HR resource.
- Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations as needed.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Deliver HR and change management initiatives to help maintain high-performing, motivated, and impactful teams
- Provide guidance and input on business unit organization development, restructures and/or organization changes, workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual coaching needs.
- Evaluates and monitors training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years Human Resources experience; including at least 3 years as an HR Generalist or Business Partner
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Up to 10% travel
