Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager will be an integral part of our team to create new, fresh, digestible visual content. The ideal candidate should focus on appealing to consumers' interests by creating engaging material and being informative and entertaining rather than "influential." Ultimately, an exceptional Social Media Manager will help us drive growth through compelling storytelling of our brand, values, and why we do what we do.
Responsibilities:
® Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including graphic elements, video content, and caption writing using appropriate hashtags.
® Improve customer engagement, provide product education, and create brand buzz by promoting the brand.
® Implement cross-platform campaigns. Schedule posts, respond to comments and browse reviews looking for content to address.
® Develop detailed monthly content calendar and guidelines for posting.
® Daily community management: reply to DMs, comments, and engage with followers.
® Hands on creative and content creation including graphic posts, image enhancements, video content for stories, reels and posts, writing post captions taking photos and managing other content creator that we work with.
® Manage outsourced influencer partnership vendors.
® Crafting engaging content to consistently align with customer trends and market changes to interest and engage people.
® Plan, host and promote live stream events to actively engage our audience.
® Work with digital marketing partner in content creation for paid social media ads as needed.
® Follow online conversations on a company’s social media accounts and solve customer concerns using social media platforms.
® Set KPI’s for social media campaigns and targets to grow followers and engagement on all platforms.
® Detailed monthly ROI reports outlining results from Performance Marketing and Organic Social Media.
® Use analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Later, and Meta Insights to monitor and evaluate the company’s social media presence and performance and report to the team.
® Consistently improve and enhance the company’s social media presence.
® Suggest and make recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results.
® Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media.
® Assisting with other marketing duties as needed.
Qualifications:
® Minimum 3+ years of social media marketing experience in an agency or internal creative department. Prior experience supporting healthcare, wellness, or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
® Thorough knowledge and experience with social media strategy, content creation, community monitoring best practices, influencer relations, analytics and reporting.
® Strong project management skills, including the ability to work with multiple internal and external teams effectively and in a fast-paced environment.
® Deep working knowledge of social listening platforms.
® The ability to assimilate extensive amounts of detailed data and to see the big picture, providing actionable and influential recommendations.
® Excellent organizational, writing, and language skills.
® Proven track record of growing social media audiences/followers.
® Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and still photography is a plus!
® Experience ideating and managing still and video assets preferred.
® Understanding of storytelling and what makes engaging content on social.
® Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
® Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
® Proactive about owning the success of our social media channels.
® Ability to multitask.
® Good with ideation and making ideas come to life.
® Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
® Possess strong problem-solving skills.
® Fluent in English (speak, read and write).
