We are on the hunt for a mid-level MaintenanceTechnician to join our facilities department. The Maintenance Technician’s responsibility is to preserve our business premises' excellent condition and functionality. Your duties will include conducting quality assessments, scheduling repairs, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identifyissues
- Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures
- Manage air conditioning and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality
- Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and procedures to ensure everything is up to standard
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry
- Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
- Ability to determine when issues need toescalate
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role is required
- Experience in HVAC and building maintenance ispreferred
- General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Able to lift fifty pounds
